Founded by Cornelia Connelly, the Society of the Holy Child Jesus is an international community of women religious. Our mission is to help others to believe that God lives and acts in them and in our world, and to rejoice in God´s presence. Our life of prayer and community strengthens us for diverse ministries. Since the Society´s founding in 1846, education has been at the heart of our mission. In the United States, the Society sponsors 10 schools and Rosemont College, and several spiritual, healing, and social justice ministries. Holy Child Sisters serve on four continents.
