For over 135 years, we have been committed to compassionate, joyful service and dedicated our lives to community care through faith and action. Our history begins at a castle in Switzerland and continues at our historic Motherhouse in Beaverton, Oregon. It is a remarkable story of challenges, humility, faith, and hope. We offer loving, respectful service through: sacred space for prayer and contemplation; pre-K–12 education and lifelong learning; elder care and parish ministry.
