For the second consecutive year missionary friars of the Western American Province of the Capuchin Franciscans organized a Pilgrimage for Peace in Northern Mexico. Working with the mayor of the municipality of Yecora and the leaders of the Pima tribe in Sonora, the May 7 pilgrimage traveled between towns and prayed and witnessed for an end to violence in the region and in all of Mexico.
