Our community was established in 2006 in the Diocese of Peoria, Illinois. We are a contemplative-active community faithful to the Holy Father and the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. Our charism is Trusting God in profound humility and joy. We live it out according to the example of John the Baptist by striving to decrease so that Christ can increase. An indispensable part of our charism is to pray daily for priests and seminarians. We serve Christ in His brothers and sisters according to the needs of the Church and society under the guidance of the local Bishop. Our apostolate includes nursing, diocesan ministries, parish apostolate, and teaching. We live a joyful and strong community life, rooted in the Eucharist and in a solid prayer life. We wear religious habit as a sign of our consecration to God.
