Impelled by the love of Christ, we, Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth offer every loving service in our power to meet the critical needs of God´s people. We are an apostolic community. With joy, deep spirituality and commitment to social justice, we serve in diverse ministries in the United States (with a focus on the midwest and mountain west), Peru and Canada. Continuing our historic tradition, we remain involved in education and healthcare. In expanded roles and responsive to today’s critical needs, Sisters work on behalf of the environment, are a voice for women who are trafficked, and assist those who are homeless and underserved. We serve in parishes, schools, colleges, diocesan offices, hospitals and clinics. You will find us on the front lines of advocacy for the poor; in faith formation; and in social services and helping agencies.
