As Brothers of the Christian Schools (De La Salle Christian Brothers) we are passionate about our mission of providing a human and Christian education to the young, especially those on the margins. Together in community, we live out the Gospel and our Lasallian charism as elementary, middle, and secondary school teachers, university professors, counselors, missionaries, social workers, youth ministers, campus ministers, administrators, and retreat directors. Internationally, we are the largest group of lay religious men in the Catholic Church dedicated exclusively to the ministry of education with some 4,000 Brothers serving in 80 countries. In the United States and Canada, our ministries include 7 colleges/universities, 52 high schools, 15 middle schools, and 23 educational centers. St. John Baptist de La Salle (1651-1719), who is Patron Saint of Teachers, is the Founder of the Brothers. We invite faith-filled, energetic, generous, and committed men to discern with us.
