The work of a missionary

“In the short amount of time that I have been with the PIME Missionaries, one lesson has been of paramount importance to me: more blessed than those of us who were born into a world of faith are those who don’t know of God or see His works, yet still hunger for the opportunity to know Him. That is to say, the blessed are those who live in areas of great hardship where tragedy has become a routine activity and where religion is kept from them because it is different than the country’s tradition: despite all this, they still hunger for God. It really makes you think about how important the work of the missionary is in the grand scheme of things. The missionary takes on not only bringing the Word of God to those who haven’t heart it, but also to then serve as an example of His love and kindness.”
